Vernissage Kaarisilta Biennale 16 juni
A warm welcome to the opening of the Kaarisilta Biennale 2023 Art event!
The opening party will be held on Friday 16th June at 17:00 at the Kaarisilta Art and Activity Center in Villähde, Lahti, Finland.
The program of the opening ceremony includes speeches, music and presentation of the artists. In addition to the official program, there is a free access to the exhibition. At the end of the event there is a band playing live music from 7 pm to 8 pm.
ARRIVAL AT THE KAARISILTA ART AND ACTIVITY CENTER
The address of Kaarisilta Art and Activity Center is: Villähteentie 458, 15540 Lahti, Finland.
If you arrive with your own car, Kaarisilta parking lots are on both sides of Villähteentie road. Parking is free. The opening party will be held in Kaarisilta Multipurpose Hall, which is located near the parking lot.
You can also travel to Kaarisilta by bus and train. The bus stop (stop name: Makasiini) is right next to Kaarisilta Art and Activity Centre. It is about 1.3 km distance from the Villähde train stop to Kaarisilta. Timetables and routes can be found on the websites of Lahti Regional Transport (https://www.lsl.fi/in-english/) and VR (https://www.vr.fi/en).There is a travel center at Lahti railway station, through which buses run. The buses are numbers 9K and 9M.
