Inuti ställer ut i Indien
Utställningen ”My Voice Through Art” visas i Kolkata, Indien 23-25/7. Ett pågående samarbete mellan Inuti, IICP och Stockholms universitet, Specialpedagogiska institutionen.
Marina Dizdarevic is a Stockholm-based textile artist working at Inuti’s Kungsholmen studio since 2022. Born in Serbia in 1981, she grew up in a family with a strong tradition of craftsmanship and design, which continues to shape her artistic practice. Her work centers on crochet, textile techniques, upcycling, alteration sewing, and handmade jewelry, combining traditional skills with a contemporary and functional approach.
Marina draws inspiration from everyday life as well as digital platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest, transforming familiar materials into imaginative, practical, and expressive artworks. Her creative process reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability, and the joy of making, resulting in textile pieces that are both visually engaging and thoughtfully designed.
Anneli Aaltonen Krantz is the Artistic Director of Stiftelsen Inuti in Stockholm, where she has played a central role in developing one of Sweden’s leading organizations for Outsider Art. Through her work, she supports and promotes artists with disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment where artistic talent can flourish. Anneli has been instrumental in curating exhibitions, developing the Inuti Collection, leading international collaborations, and advocating for the recognition of Outsider Art in Sweden and beyond. Her practice is guided by a strong belief in the transformative power of creativity and the importance of providing professional opportunities for artists of all abilities.
Anders Wettler has been working as an artist at Inuti in Stockholm since 2003 and is based at the Kungsholmen studio. His multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, painting, poetry, and performance, often transforming every day and discarded materials into expressive works of art. Through playful experimentation with words, images, and actions, Anders explores themes of human connection, transformation, and resilience. His work reveals an ability to turn the ordinary into something unexpected, where vulnerability becomes strength and creativity emerges from the simplest of materials.
Sara Saremi is an artist based at Inuti’s Kungsholmen studio in Stockholm, where she works across painting and drawing. Her art is characterized by a vibrant visual language and a personal approach to image-making, often inspired by people, portraits, and popular culture. Through bold colours and expressive compositions, Sara creates works that are both playful and emotionally engaging. Her artistic practice reflects a strong individual voice, and her work has been featured in exhibitions organized by Inuti, contributing to Sweden’s contemporary Outsider Art scene.
